School Holiday events and ideas for the whole family that won’t hurt your pocket!
The School Holiday is drawing closer and I had this inkling in my toes that it would be a great idea to share some of the events that are on in Perth!
There are a few different options out there, some are ticketed and some are close to being free. There is something for everyone and The school holidays have never been this action packed and exciting!
A little bit about me before I get started, my name is Betty Bubbles and I am a Face Painter, Bubbleologist, Entertainer and Kids Group Facilitator at Minnawarra House in Armadale, Perth.
I love hanging out with kids and I always love hunting for new ideas for kids activities and school holiday events that are heaps of fun for both adults and young ones!

THE FUNARIUM
School Holiday Event
7th – 9th July 2017 – ages 4-12 yrs – Claremont Showgrounds – Ticketed ($15-$85 + BF)
An action packed day with over 40 activities based on science, arts, music and wild imagination!
Welcome to Perth’s newest winter school holidays festival for kids! Kids can enjoy an entire day of play in 10 themed zones
With a focus on education, creativity and imagination, what’s not to love?
The individual 10 zones cater for interests in gastronomy, arts & crafts, animals, music, technology, science, nature play and gardening, construction and heaps more. This is a great interactive experience!
Highlights to the festival include:
- RAC Rescue Experience in a helicopter,

KIDS WONDERLAND
School Holiday Event
5th – 9th July 2017 – All Ages Welcome – 21 Cedric St, Stirling WA 6021 – Ticketed ($12-$25 + BF, under 2 yrs FREE)
This may be a great deal for mums and dads as the one time entry fee gains you access to loads of activities, rides, entertainment exhibits, games and a bunch of other things.
Kids Wonderland is back over the school holidays for its 4th year here in Perth! Experience the magic and wonder of unlimited show rides, interactive gaming, fabulous stage shows and educational exhibits under the one roof of the amazing Big Top.
Walk with Giant Dinosaurs, interactive LEGO Land, Pierre Ulric Mysteries Show, get lost in the wild with African Oz Drum ‘n’ Dance and Make a Music Video with Famous Sharron are some of the options available on the terrific day out!

WINTER FESTIVAL FREMANTLE
School Holiday Event
24th June – 17th July – All Ages – Fremantle Esplanade – Ticketed (FREE TO ENTER/$ for activities)
The Fremantle Winter Festival is sure to create an enchanting experience for all ages.
The Winter Festival is free to enter, although tickets must be purchased for ice skating and activities. Tickets for the ice-skating are available for pre-purchase online.
